The Book Inspired An Album

Over the past few weeks I've been working on an album for my Beyond The Goalposts world. Let me tell you how that all came about.

So it all started with me wanting to create one song. My main female character, Amber Brown, had a dream of being a singer. Well I thought, why not make her one. Why not create a song based off a small note she wrote Matt in Book Two, Edge of Almost. Well I sat down and did that. But then I was stuck. I'm not female. I don't play instruments. I don't have the money to hire a full band to mess around until I get a song I want.

With all the tools that have been coming out I found a site, Suno AI, that could take your song and create the voice and music for it. After some playing around, I got the song I wanted.

From that song I created a few more songs to see what I could do with her. Next thing I knew I created a whole album.

She's got a little bit of a country voice with a modern country rocking sound. I've got some slow songs and some fast songs.

I've put two of the songs up on youtube and my goal is to get the whole album up on Spotify. I'll also be getting a few more of the songs on youtube as well. I also decided to call the project Pretty Armor.
