Neon Saint Is Now a Full Audio Story

I’ve been working on something new with Neon Saint.
The story has been available to read here on the website, and I recently added the full audio version to that page. But I wanted to do something a little more with it.
So I put together a full video version for YouTube.
It’s still the complete audio story, but I created a different picture for each section. Every picture is from the viewpoint of the person telling that part of the story.
You’re standing at the foot of the bed with Mary.
You’re looking across the kitchen at Tommy Ray.
You’re sitting in the car outside Rusty’s.
Then, when the story changes to Grace, you’re behind the bar with her.
Nothing moves around too much. I didn’t want it to turn into a slideshow that distracted from the story. The pictures are there to put you inside each place while you listen.

This whole project started as a song I made, called Neon Saint.
I liked the story inside that song, but I kept wondering how Tommy Ray and Mary ended up there. What happened before the night at the bar? How long had Mary known something was wrong? What finally made her go inside?
So I fleshed it all out. And while I was doing that, I found another connection.
The Mary in Neon Saint is the same Mary who appears in Chapter Four of Beyond the Goalposts: Junior Year. The final convenience-store scene happens during that chapter. It's Matt's view, actually is more like his car's view of that night.
So after you finish the audio story, you can keep going.

I like what this story turned into.
It started as a song. Then it became Mary’s story. Now you can read it, listen to it, or watch the full audio version.
